One week before Filipino Catholics observe the Lenten season, progressive groups staged a ‘Kalbaryo ng Mamamayan’ protest. Derived from the passion of Christ, the protest depicts how Filipinos suffer under government policies such as Oplan Tokhang, TRAIN, contractualization, and state-sanctioned human rights abuses.
